Thanks, Julia!
DeleteHope to see you back soon! :)
Stumbled upon your site on craigslist! Such cute things! Have you ever considered hosting a DIY session to teach a small group of people how to refurbish a piece? You could charge a fee for each participant. ?? I would be in! We just moved into a new house in Shakopee, MN and the home has the space we want, is super functional, but is filled with large clunky oak wood pieces (built-ins, the office, etc). Am looking for a way to personalize it all (on a budget of course). Your pieces sing to my soul! You have such a knack! Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestion, Roz! That is SUCH a fun idea and it is definitely something that I am considering! I've been looking into what it would take to be able to do that and I will definitely keep you posted! Also... I plan to start publishing some fun DIY tutorials on painting and revamping furniture once our "House Tour" is published so watch for those as well!
DeleteCongratulations on the new house! :) Such a fun and exciting time! In the mean time, if you have any questions on painting those oak built-in's, feel free to email me directly and we can chat about techniques!

Ha! Hi Laura! I just emailed you---and then saw your response on your blog from a year ago! Ha! Hope to connect soon! Thanks!
DeleteI would LOVE a DIY workshop! Also - where did you get your beautiful white/ brown design drapes? Need for living room and they're perfect :) your work is stunning! Love your pieces Laura!
ReplyDeleteHello DaisyLoveLife,
DeleteThank you so much! Believe it or not, I actually stenciled the drapes. I purchased 108" white linen curtains from Ikea and stenciled a trellis pattern with some leftover Chocolate brown wall paint mixed with fabric medium. Certainly time consuming, but SO worth it to have designer curtains for pennies on the dollar!
I am looking for a cabinet for my wine cellar that measures 24-29" wide x 12-14" deep x 36-42" high. It can be distressed or old, finished or unfinished, have one, two or more drawers, maybe a doored cabinet underneath, and does not need to hold any wine bottles. Do you have or can you make? I can be contacted at 612.414.3444 or johnlnel@gmail.com. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHello jnellie,
DeleteI think I might have just the thing! I'll get in touch with you via email. Thanks for inquiring!
