Gorgeous Shabby Wine Rack with Wainscoting - SOLD

Once upon a time, I came across this fantastic, yet ugly wine rack at a thrift store. It was made of outdated blonde wood and a bit wobbly. It was definitely old.... but not a good old. Nevertheless, I thought it had some great potential and I got a good deal on it. What it lacked in vintage charm, it made up for in price and potential.

I got to work on it, finishing it in our vintage cream color, distressing the heck out of it and glazing with a dark, chocolate brown. To really bring it to the next level and create patina where there was none, I added the wainscoting to the sides and it was the perfect touch. I love how the dark glaze highlights the grooves of the wainscoting. Very cottage chic!

What is not to love about this petite little side table? This very versatile piece makes the perfect night stand or side table. I love the 3 drawers for stashing away keys, shoes, clothes, toiletries, makeup, whatever! This would also be perfect in a kid's room or play room... Lord knows those toys can get out of control!

I'm sure you remember the lovely antique table and buffet that sold a couple of weeks ago. And as promised, here are the custom chairs that they ordered! I just love the mismatched look. My clients chose a luxurious dark charcoal grey velvet and it really pops off of the subtle white.
They wanted just a touch of light distressing to match the table and buffet.

It's elegant yet whimsical... vintage meets modern. LOVE it! It was definitely bittersweet to see these leave the house! I was getting used to having these in our dining room!

Gorgeous Distressed Buffet - SOLD

You asked for it... I answered! Many of you have been emailing to see when I am going to do another white distressed buffet like the few I did last fall that flew out of here faster than I could believe. Here you go :) And I have another one coming soon too... so stay tuned!

This buffet is seriously awesome. It's ornate carvings and details are endless. It is painted in an antique soft white and distressed through to that cool raised scroll work. It has it's original oil-rubbed-bronze hardware, 4 doors, a silverware/serving drawer, shelves and LOADS of storage. This solid piece is HEAVY! It will last you for years and years to come.

I picked up this awesome vintage china hutch about a year ago and have been back and forth on how to finish it ever since. Aqua? Rustic Red? White? Chalk paint? No chalk paint? Distressed? Lacquered?



I finally buckled down and decided on a classic heirloom white and hours and hours AND HOURS of distressing this baby. I didn't want this one to have a subtle rub-through distressing like so many of my other pieces. I wanted this to look like it had been through the wringer with years of wear.

Pair of perfectly mismatched French provincial side tables - SOLD

I just finished the most adorable shabby end tables! I love it when there's an opportunity to intentionally and perfectly mismatch furniture pieces in design. I specifically picked both of these tables for that very reason. They are both French provincial side Tables... One has a storage shelf below, to stylishly display your favorite books or trinkets.
